The homeowners sought a residence that could balance open family gathering spaces with the need for teenage privacy, comfortable guest accommodations, and flexible remote work functionality — all within an efficient and highly livable footprint.
The architectural approach centers around a refined modern farmhouse aesthetic that blends timeless rural character with clean contemporary detailing. Expansive glazing and carefully positioned windows invite natural light deep into the home while framing views of the surrounding valley and mountain landscape. Warm natural materials, simple roof forms, and a restrained palette reinforce the home’s connection to its agricultural setting while maintaining a sophisticated modern identity.
